I then went on to complete a UC 2 course at Vernon before joining my second ship. I have fond memories of my time on board the 'H', especially Christmas 69 in Malta. To this day, it was the best Christmas that I have ever experienced.

Can anyone remember the Sod's Opera that Galatea did for us on Beira Patrol? In the following 35 years I have never saw another to match it. How sad!
